Kevin C. Garinger – Director of Education
This week began with my Saskatchewan-born but Alberta resident sons coming home for the holidays. I took the opportunity to travel with them to my home town of Creighton where we enjoyed some time with my parents. We also took the time to put up my father’s ice shack while catching our limits in walleye. This holiday season is the time in the year when I look forward to sharing moments with family and loved-ones. I am anticipating our staff and students in Horizon will have a season filled with love, joy and inspiration. I have very much enjoyed sharing in some of the seasonal concerts and celebrations of learning again this week as students presented concerts and productions for parents and community members. While I know these events are great public relations for our schools, the shining stars for me are our kids doing their best, on stage and off.
